Terms of service
Last updated 2 July 2026
These terms cover your use of the Tapcord service (tapcord.app), operated by Gridvise Limited (Company No. 09002112). By using Tapcord, you agree to them. If you buy a tag kit from us, separate terms of sale will also apply at checkout.
What Tapcord is
Tapcord lets you attach a small NFC tag to a physical thing and save a record about it — photos, video, voice notes, dates, notes, and a place — so you can tap the tag to recall the whole record later.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for the activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
Your content
The records and media you create stay yours. You give us only the permission we need to store them and show them back to you as part of running the service. You’re responsible for having the right to save what you save, and for keeping it lawful.
Acceptable use
- Don’t use Tapcord to break the law or infringe others’ rights.
- Don’t upload malware or try to disrupt or probe the service.
- Don’t attempt to access accounts or data that aren’t yours.
Availability
We work hard to keep Tapcord running, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update, pause, or change features as the product evolves.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, we’re not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version lives on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
