Getting started
You just opened a Tapcord sticker. In three quick steps it becomes a tapcord — stick it on a thing, tap your phone, and its story is saved. Every tap from now on brings that story back.
Stick it
Peel the sticker and press it onto the thing you want to remember — a plant pot, a box, an appliance, a keepsake. Flat and clean holds best.
Tap it
Hold the top of your phone to the sticker. A link pops up — tap it to open Tapcord. No app to install.
Sign in and save
Enter your email — we send a one-tap sign-in link, no password. Then snap the first photo and it’s saved to this tag forever.

Tap didn’t work?
A tap should take a second. If nothing pops up, work through these — most taps come back to life here.
On an iPhone
Any iPhone XS or newer (2018 and later) reads tags in the background — you don’t need to open anything first. Unlock the screen and hold the very top edge of the phone flat against the sticker for a second. Cases are usually fine; a thick metal case can block it.
On Android
Make sure tap-to-read is switched on: open Settings, search for NFC, and turn it on. Then unlock the screen and hold the middle-to-top of the back of the phone against the sticker.
Still won’t tap?
The tag may be damaged. Your sticker came with a short code that looks like TC-####— printed on the backing liner you peeled it off, or on the welcome card in the pack. Email us that code and we’ll look up your tag and sort you out.
